nose prints on the window
For years there were always nose prints on the inside of the driver’s side window. He would sit on my lap and his nose would rub against the glass leaving tiny smudges. I suppose that would drive many crazy, a window filled with white smudges. But to me, they were tiny signs to remind me of some of my favorite times, driving with him on my lap.
He’s been gone for awhile but I still can’t bring myself to wash the nose prints off the window.
When I sell the car I suppose the new owner will wipe them off and wonder why all the windows were clean except for the inside driver’s side window.
